Welcome Back – Start of the Final Half Term
I hope you all had a wonderful half term and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather we were blessed with!
As we return to school tomorrow for the final half term of the academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of attendance and punctuality. Being in school every day and arriving on time plays a vital role in children’s learning, helping them to build strong routines, maintain progress, and feel confident and settled in their class. Even small amounts of missed learning can quickly add up, particularly in this busy final term.
The last half term is always a packed and exciting one. Sports Day is currently planned for Wednesday 3rd June, and in typical fashion, the forecast is now predicting rain - you really couldn’t write it!
Please keep an eye on your MCAS app, as we will provide an update on Tuesday with the latest information about whether Sports Day will go ahead, based on a closer look at the weather forecast.
We look forward to welcoming all pupils back to school tomorrow, ready for the gates to open at 8:50am.
