Primary School
Governors play a steady, guiding role in the life of the school, offering both support and challenge to ensure the very best for every child. Our governing body is made up of representatives from staff, parents, the local community, and the local authority, each bringing their own perspective and playing an important part in shaping our school’s direction. Together, they work with the headteacher to set the school’s vision, keep a close eye on standards and wellbeing, and ensure that resources are used wisely. They hold the school to account in a fair and balanced way, asking the right questions, celebrating strengths, and helping to address areas that need improvement. Above all, they act as a bridge between the school and its wider community, safeguarding its values and helping the school remain a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
