Dear Parents / Carers,

Consulting on the redevelopment of Penygawsi Primary School

I am pleased to inform you that the Council and the Welsh Educational Partnership Company (WEPCo) are jointly consulting the local community on the exciting redevelopment of our school. The outcome of this consultation will inform their final planning application.

You are invited to view the latest plans for the school on the dedicated consultation homepage, available here from Monday 25^th October:

The consultation will close on the 24^th of November.

Plans of the new school will also be displayed at Llantrisant Community Library, Llantrisant Leisure Centre, Southgate Park, Llantrisant, CF72 8DJ.

In addition, a community drop-in session will be organised so you can have your say in person.

Plans of the new school will be displayed, while Officers from the Council and WEPCo will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have. Further details of the drop-in session will be made available in due course through the Council’s website and social media channels. I will relay these details to you directly once they are available.

These are exciting times for education at Penygawsi.  I hope you will enjoy looking at the plans and respond to the consultation as you feel is appropriate.
